Biocon has reinforced its commitment to diabetes care in Malaysia after its long-standing partner, Duopharma Biotech, secured multiple insulin supply tenders from the Malaysian Ministry of Health. Under the agreements, Biocon's Malaysian subsidiary will manufacture and supply recombinant human insulin, insulin glargine and insulin aspart to support nationwide distribution, strengthening access to affordable diabetes treatment.

The newly awarded contracts include a three-year agreement for recombinant human insulin along with two additional two-year agreements covering insulin glargine and insulin aspart. These long-term supply arrangements are intended to ensure a stable availability of essential insulin therapies for patients receiving treatment through Malaysia's public healthcare system.
