Lonza Expands Advanced Manufacturing for ADC Therapies

Lonza is expanding its payload-linker manufacturing capacity at its Visp site in Switzerland to support the growing antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) market. The investment will add commercial-scale capabilities for highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients and complex ADC payload-linkers.

Expanded HPAPI Manufacturing

The expansion will add new manufacturing capacity within an existing GMP facility, along with dedicated analytical and process-development laboratories for highly potent molecules.

Flexible Production Capability

The new facility is designed for multipurpose use and can be expanded as demand increases, allowing Lonza to manufacture and purify a broad range of payload-linker molecules for pharmaceutical customers.

Integrated ADC Support

The expanded capabilities will complement Lonza's existing ADC ecosystem, including monoclonal antibody manufacturing, conjugation, drug-product manufacturing and quality-control capabilities across its Swiss sites.
