Description

  • Application: Dowex 1X4 chloride form is a strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for fine pharmaceuticals. Dowex 1X4 ion exchangers have been used to remove iodinated contrast media (ICM), water pollutants, from the water phase, suggesting a removal method for use in aquatic environments. Dowex 1X4 has also been used to determine partitioning of heavy metals (Ca, Mg, Fe and Zn) in cow milk.
