Description

  • Application: Amberlyst® A26 hydroxide form is a strongly basic, macroreticular resin with quaternary ammonium functionality used to catalyze aldol condensation, also useful in aqueous and nonaqueous media to remove anionic transition metal complexes, mercaptans and acids from hydrocarbons and other nonpolar solvents. It was used to determine cadmium using flow injection atomic absorption spectrometry.[1] It was also used as packaging material for column chromatography assay.[2]
  • Features and Benefits: Inert in strong acids, concentrated aldalies, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers, and other common solvents.Maximum operating temperature 60C.
