- General description: Myristic acid is an important bioactive component of Suanzaoren seed, which is one of the most commonly used Chinese medicine with therapeutic properties such as hypotensive, antihypoxia, hypnotic-sedative, antihyperlipidemia, and hypothermic effects.[1]
- Application: Myristic acid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the anayte in Ziziphus jujuba using high performance liquid chromatography with evaporative light scattering detection.[1]
