Description

  • General description: (R)-(-)-a-Methoxy-a-(trifluoromethyl)phenylacetyl chloride (Mosher′s acid chloride) is generally used as a chiral derivatizing agent. It is easily available in enantiomerically pure form. It can form diastereomers with both alcohols and amines.[1]
  • Application: It was used for derivatizing D-arabinitol and L-arabinitol samples for high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) analysis for studying resolution of the diastereoisomer.[2]
  • Packaging: Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
