Description

  • Application: Zinc sulfate solution has been used as a component in media for in vitro hyphal growth assays.[1] It has also been used as a supplement in the media along with isopropyl β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG), while expressing zinc containing proteins.[2]
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: Zinc sulfate solution is as potent as formalin. This chemical is mainly used to treat footrot.[3] It may also be used to treat acute bronchiolitis.[4]
