Description
- General description: The Visiprep DL (Disposable Liner) Vacuum Manifold eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination when processing a new sample on the same port. The liner consists of a PP female luer hub that attaches to the SPE, and thin-walled PTFE tubing that is threaded through the SPE port. This ensures that all SPE port and valve surfaces coming in contact with the sample can be replaced following each extraction.
- Application: Visiprep™ SPE Vacuum Manifold was used to perform solid phase extraction to separate polyphenols from grapes, in order to determine the polyphenol content using LC-MS analysis.[1] It was also used for concentration and purification of solvent extracts from surface water and sewage water sediments.[2] Furthermore it was also used to extract and determine estrone in water using solid-phase extraction-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (SPE-ELISA).[3]
