Description

  • General description: α-Pinene is a chemical constituent of essential oil extracted from the stem of Canarium tramdenanum[1].
  • Application: α-Pinene was used as standard in headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatographic analysis of volatile compounds in virgin olive oils[4]. It was used in the synthesis of cesium-doped heteropolyacid having potential application in biodiesel synthesis[5].
