- General description: Bisphenol F bis(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) ether a additive used during synthesis of organosol resin preventing theremal degradation of polymer. During the removal of hydrochloric acid in organosol resin results in this chlorinated compound.[1]
- Application: It was used as reference standard in RP-HPLC-APCI-MS-MS analysis for optimizing and quantifying pressurized liquid extraction for BFDGE and its derivatives from canned food.[2]
- Packaging: Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
- Other Notes: Standard for determining toxic monomers released from polymers of the inner coating of cans[3][4][5]
