  • General description: 2,3,5,6-Tetramethylpyrazine is a flavor compound belonging to the class of pyrazines.[1] It is found to be a main active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicine, Chuanxiong and Ma-Huang herbs, used to treat asthma.[2]
  • Application: 2,3,5,6-Tetramethylpyrazine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in Ephedrae herba[3] and Ephedra sinica Stapf [2] using different chromatography techniques.
  • Packaging: Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
