  • Application: trans-Cinnamaldehyde has been used:To synthesize trans-cinnamaldehyde -β-cyclodextrin complex, an antimicrobial edible coating which can increase the shelf life of fresh-cut fruits.[1][2][3][4]It can be used:As a precursor to synthesize functionalized furans.[5]For the synthesis of hydrocinnamyl alcohol by hydrogenation catalyzed by SBA-15-supported copper–chromium mixed oxide nanoparticles (CuCr/SBA-15).[6]
