• General description: Cetyl Palmitate is an ester of palmitic acid,[1] obtained via the reaction of cetyl alcohol and palmitic acid.[2] It is an ingredient of many cosmetic preparations.[1]Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.
