It is usually liberated from a cyanogenic glycoside such as amygladin, which is found in fruit kernels.[1][2]
• Application: Benzaldehyde may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using polarographic method.[1]
