• General description: α-Tocopherol is a form of fat-soluble vitamin E and shows anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cell proliferative, and anti-cancer properties. Often the result of poor nutrition or low absorption of dietary fat, its deficiency is monitored in patient serum samples by LC-MS/MS or HPLC.
