Description
- General description: Poly (sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) a cation exchange polyelectrolyte.[1] PSS may be used to produce mechanically stable and very reproducible coatings.[2]
- Application: Reduction of graphite oxide in the presence of PSS has been reported for the synthesis of polymer-coated graphitic nanoplatelets.[3] Interaction of PSS with metal ions has been studied.[2] PSS combined with Nafion has been reported to be used a mixed coating of Bismuth film electrodes.[4]
