- General description: 3-(Decyldimethylammonio)propanesulfonate inner salt, a zwitterionic surfactant, is a sulfobetaine.[1] Sulfobetaines contain a positively charged quaternary ammonium group and a negatively charged sulfonic group.[2]
- Application: 3-(Decyldimethylammonio)propanesulfonate inner salt was used:In a study to demonstrate a polyurethane chip that electrostatically binds to immunoglobulin G (IgG).[3] In a study to describe a method for isolating a high yield of Arabidopsis chloroplasts.[4] Solubilization of oleosins.[5]
