• General description: NanoFabTx™ PEGylated nanoparticle formulation screening kit contains optimized reagents and protocols for nanoprecipiation and microfluidic-based synthesis of polymer nanoparticles. The kit provides rationally selected PEGylated PLGA, PLA, and PCL polymers, which are widely used in drug delivery systems for controlled drug release of many different types of therapeutic molecules. This reagent kit can be combined with the NanoFabTx™ Microfluidic - nano device kit (Cat.No. 911593) for microfluidic synthesis of polymer nanoparticles 60 to 100 nm in size.
• Application: NanoFabTx™ PEGylated nanoparticle formulation screening kit is designed for the synthesis of specifically sized, hydrophobic drug encapsulated biodegradable PEGylated polymer nanoparticles. Our specially designed PEGylated polymers result in nanoparticles with a PEG surface coating that reduces protein absorption and prolongs circulation time, leading to slow and sustained release of the encapsulated drug. The NanoFabTx™ PEGylated nanoparticle formulation screening kit enables nanoparticle optimization by selection of the right polymer to achieve the desired nanoparticle size, drug encapsulation, release kinetics, and stability in systemic circulation. This kit provides reagents and protocols for nanoprecipitation and microfluidics to synthesize 60 nm to 100 nm nanoparticles.
