Ethylcellulose is used in the preparation of biostructures such as matrices, microspheres, microparticles, pellets and tablets for use in drug delivery.
  • Preparation Note: Ethyl Cellulose is soluble in a wide range of solvents such as aliphatic alcohols, chlorinated solvents, and natural oils. It is insoluble in water, glycerin, and prolylene glycol.
