Description
- General description: 3-Iodo-2-propynyl N-butylcarbamate is also referred to as iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC). It is widely used as antifungal[1] and anti-microbial agent.[2] IPBC can be encapsulated in polystrene/polycaprolactone blend in the form microspheres. The microspheres were tested for invitro antifouling activity.[3]
