• General description: Certified pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards. Sulfapyridine melting point standard, also called Sulfapyridine, is a metabolite of sulfasalazine. It is an antibiotic and is mostly used in treating rheumatoid arthritis. Sulfapyridine is a short acting sulfonamide, which can be substituted for dapsone and it does not cause neuropathy.[1]
