- Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) is a balanced salt formulation used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue, diluting cells for counting, and preparing reagents
- PBS is formulated without calcium and magnesium for rinsing chelators from the culture before cell dissociation
- Each 5 g Gibco™ PBS Tablet should be dissolved in 500 mL of distilled water
- The pH will be 7.45 and requires no adjustment
- We offer a variety of Gibco™ PBS formulations for a range of cell culture applications
- These PBS Tablets are manufactured as follows: Without: Calcium, Magnesium, Phenol Red The complete formulation is available.
