- Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 beads are coated with a primary monoclonal antibody specific for the Lyt 2 membrane antigen mainly expressed on cytotoxic/suppressor subpopulation of mature T-cells of all common mouse strains
- Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 binds to CD8 + cells during a short incubation period in a tube, after which the bead-bound cells are separated from unbound cells using a magnet
- This fast and gentle isolation method does not require the use of columns, and helps ensure high purity, recovery and viability of the isolated CD8 + cells
- Ideal for Both Depletion and Positive Isolation for Downstream Molecular Assays Because of the powerful magnets used for separation, Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) can be used in viscous samples such as single cell suspensions from tissue, whole blood and bone marrow, and enable efficient depletion of mouse CD8 + cells in about 30 minutes
- Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) will also afford excellent recovery of high-purity, viable cells when used for positive isolation for downstream studies; for example, those in which cells are to be lysed while still attached to beads, and nucleic acids or proteins further purified
