  • Dynabeads MyOne Streptavidin T1 beads are 1-μm monosized, monodispersed, superparamagnetic beads covalently coupled to streptavidin and intended for use in the isolation and handling of biotinylated nucleic acids, antibodies, and other biotinylated ligands
  • Their small but uniform size presents a high surface area per mg of beads and a correspondingly high capacity for the target ligand, while the high iron content ensures an efficient magnetic pull
  • These features, along with a slow sedimentation rate during incubation, contribute to a gentle and rapid magnetic separation
  • Excellent dispersion abilities and the lack of magnetic remanence make Dynabeads streptavidin products ideal for manual and automated protocols, including microfluidic system protocols

  • The capacity also depends on steric availability and charge interaction between bead and molecule and between molecules
