- General description: Geraniol undergoes oxidation with molecular oxygen in supercritical carbon dioxide catalyzed by chromium containing mesoporous molecular sieve to yield citral[1].
- Application: Geraniol was used in field evaluation of synthetic herbivore-induced plant volatiles as attractants to beneficial insects[2]. It was used to evaluate the tumor-suppressive potency of isoprenoids in vitro and in vivo[3].
