• General description: Diphenyl phosphoryl chloride is a diaryl phosphoryl derivative. It is formed during the preparation of monophenyl phosphoryl chloride via reaction of phenol and phosphorus oxychloride.[1]
• Application: Diphenyl phosphoryl chloride may be used:in the preparation of guanosine-adenosine-5′,5′-triphosphate, guanosine-cytidine-5′,5′-triphosphate, guanosine-uridine-5′,5′-triphosphate, diguanosine-5′,5′-diphosphate and diguanosine-5′,5′-triphosphate[2]as phosphorylating agent for the synthesis of 2-deoxy-D-galactose-3 and -6 phosphoric acids[3] in the synthesis of diaryl phosphoryl derivatives of alkylene dithiophosphates[4]
