- General description: N-Isopropyl-N-methyl-tert-butylamine is a tertiary amine. BH3.THF stabilized by N-isopropyl N-methyl tert-butylamine is useful for the carbonyl reductions.[1][2]
- Application: N-Isopropyl-N-methyl-tert-butylamine may be used to stabilize the borane-THF solutions.[3][2] It may also be used for the synthesis of rotaxane, via Sonogashira coupling.[4]
