- Application: Methoxyperfluorobutane can be used as a solvent: In the synthesis of various aryl fluoride derivatives via electrophilic fluorination of aryl and heteroaryl Grignard reagents.[1] In grafting of fluorinated diblock copolymers onto silica particles.[2]
