  • Application: Oxalic acid is a dicarboxylic acid used in the synthesis of various synthetic intermediates and organic compounds.[1] Some of the examples are:It is used as a reducing agent in the preparation of graphene from graphene oxide.[2]It can be used as a ligand in the synthesis of several organometallic complexes and metal-organic frameworks.[3][4]Additionally, it can also be used in textile treatment, metal treatment, tanning and bleaching leather.[1]
