- Application: (S)-(+)-1-(2-Pyrrolidinylmethyl)pyrrolidine can be used as an organocatalyst in the asymmetric synthesis of different optically active organic building blocks via Aldol condensation and Mannich reactions [1]. It is also used as a catalyst to prepare enantioselective Michael adducts by reacting alkylidene malonates with unactivated ketones.[2]
