Description

  • Application: Platinum on carbon (Pt/C) is a versatile catalyst used for the hydrogenation of alkenes, alkynes, nitro groups, ketones, and aromatics.[1] It is used for hydrogenolysis of cyclopropanes[2] and catalyzes the oxidation of alcohols.[3] It is a useful reagent for reductive couplings, avoids dehalogenation.[4]Product can be used with our benchtop hydrogen generator, H-Genie Lite (Z744083)
