Description

  • Features and Benefits: Lipoamido-dPEG®12-TFP ester permits crosslinking of a molecule with an amine functional group to a metal surface such as gold. The lipoamide group readily forms strong, stable dative bonds with metals such as gold, while 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl (TFP) ester group reacts with amines. The dPEG® spacers are hydrophilic, non-immunogenic, single molecular weight compounds of exact length. Precise spacing control of the crosslinked molecules is possible because of this single molecular weight nature. The dPEG® spacers also improve the water solubility of the target molecules.
