• General description: Dimethyl phthalate can broadly find applications in industries[1], for the manufacture of poly-vinyl chloride and cellulose ester-based plastics like cellulose acetate and cellulose butyrate.[2][3]
• Application: Dimethyl phthalate may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in food products, vegetables, cosmetic and environmental samples by gas chromatography technique.[7][8][9][10]
