  • General description: Tributyl phosphate (TBP) is an organophosphorus compound widely used as a solvent in nuclear fuel reprocessing for the extraction of uranium and plutonium from other radionuclides.[1][2]
  • Application: Tributyl phosphate was employed as:solvent in the solvent-detergent method for production of immunoglobulin for inactivation of viruses with lipid envelope on the model of duck hepatitis B virus[4]ligand in the extraction of lanthanide ions from solid and liquid materials by supercritical CO2[5]extractant for metal complexes[6]
