Description

  • General description: With their high degree of UV transmittance, low particle count, low acidity and alkalinity and low evaporation residue level, LiChrosolv® solvents are ideal for reproducible separations. Since separations are normally carried out under gradient conditions in analytical HPLC, solvents in"gradient grade" as well as "isocratic grade" are appropriate for use. This enables to minimize the gradient effect of the solvent involved.
  • Application: Acetonitrile is used as a solvent: In mobile phase in reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method.[1] In reversed-phase HPLC with an isocratic mode for determining Sudan dyes in chili- and curry-containing foodstuffs.[2]
  • Features and Benefits: microfiltered by 0.2 µm filterhigh resolution, sensitivity and optimized peak baseline separation
  • Preparation Note: Product filtered through a 0.2 μm filter
  • Analysis Note: Purity (GC): ≥ 99.8 %Identity (IR): conformsEvaporation residue: ≤ 4.0 mg/lWater: ≤ 0.05 %Acidity: ≤ 0.0005 meq/gAlkalinity: ≤ 0.0002 meq/gTransmission (at 195 nm): ≥ 70 %Transmission (at 200 nm): ≥ 90 %Transmission (from 240 nm): ≥ 98 %Filtered by 0.2 µm filter
