Description

  • Application: Chemical analysis of acoustically levitated drops by Raman spectroscopy.: Innovative use of acoustical levitation combined with Raman spectroscopy to analyze the chemical properties of droplets in a non-contact setup, useful in scenarios where DMSO is used as a solvent ( Tuckermann et al., 2009).
  • Caution: Supercools easily and remelts slowly at room temperature. Solidified product can be re-liquified by warming to room temperature without detriment to the product.
  • Specifications: Saturation Concentration in Air: 8.0 g/m3 (20 °C)
  • Preparation Note: Product filtered through a 0.5 μm filter
  • Analysis Note: Purity (GC): ≥ 99.7 %Water: ≤ 0.2 %Evaporation residue: ≤ 0.002 %Transmission (at 270 nm): ≥ 30 %Transmission (at 280 nm): ≥ 60 %Transmission (at 300 nm): ≥ 75 %Transmission (from 350 nm): ≥ 99 %
  • Other Notes: Explore various lab safety accessories and equipment for safe handling of solvents to increase your safety level from the first usage.
