Description

  • General description: Silver nitrate is a white crystalline salt, and it is less light-sensitive than other silver halides.. It can simply be produced by dissolving silver in nitric acid and then evaporating the solution.
  • Application: Silver nitrate can be used:As a lithium storage material for lithium-ion batteries due to its lithiation/delithiation behavior.[1]To fabricate Ag decorated rGO electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction in zinc air batteries.[2]As an electron sacrificial reagent for overall water splitting reaction.[3]As a precursor to tune the shape of gold nanoparticles.[3]To prepare silver vanadium oxide cathode material for batteries.[4]
