Description
- Since these types of samples require a gravimetric type of dilution process, the Smart Dilutor has an integrated balance at the heart of the system
- The operator simply places an unknown amount of sample in a sterile bag and the unit takes an initial weight of the sample, then the operator moves the lever and the microprocessor dispenses an amount of diluent by weight, to achieve the programmed dilution ratio
- The system constantly monitors the weight in the sample bag to achieve a highly accurate dilution result
- Once the programmed dilution ratio has been reached, the system notifies the operator that the process has finished
- Software also allows the instrument to be used as a dispensing device for a previously determined quantity of a liquid into any kind of container Bar code provides traceability of the dilution process Can be expanded to dilute up to six different buffers with the use of an optional accessory Adjustable, multilevel arm enables dilution of various type containers Tubing set and the bottles are fully autoclavable Changing operation of tubing set is performed in less than 15 seconds Certifications Each device is calibrated and certified against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST™
