• This Earthquake Shake Table allows students to test different structures to see which ones can best withstand the shaking caused by earthquakes
• The base is 16 x 16 inch and has four strong springs at the corners, with adjustable mountings to hold a variety of tower bases
• A tower model can have a base up to 12 inches on each side
• A pair of motors are mounted underneath and have a protective cage to protect fingers while the table is in motion
• The motors can be easily powered powered individually or together by a 1-5 V DC power supply (required but not included) and are intended to be a reliable and consistent source of vibrations
• If a more energetic vibration is needed to test a design, the base can be manually shaken
