  • General description: Sodium molybdate is a white powder that is an environmentally friendly non-oxidizing corrosion inhibitor and Mo source which is widely used in rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors.[1] [2]
  • Application: Sodium molybdate can be used as:A precursor to prepare MoS2-based electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries with high initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE), high-rate performance, and long cycle life.[1]An electrolyte additive in energy storage devices such as supercapacitors, to prevent the corrosion of stainless-steel collectors and enhance the performance.[2] [3]A source of molybdenum to synthesize MoS2 quantum dots that can be used in fluorescence sensors for ascorbic acid detection.[4]
