Description

• Carry out microbial limit testing by harmonized methodology of pharmaceutical products in accordance with USP/EP/BP/JP 1,2,3 with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Buffered Sodium Chloride Peptone Solution (Dehydrated)
• The combination of phosphate buffer, sodium chloride and peptone increases the viability of sensitive microorganisms by providing an isotonic environment
• This is of particular importance when trying to recover cells that may be stressed or sensitive to osmotic pressure
• Use Buffered Sodium Chloride Peptone Broth for the dilution of samples in the analysis of non-sterile products for microbial contaminants
• Conforms to the harmonized Microbial Limit Testing chapters from the EP/USP/BP/JP 1,2,3 Maintains cell viability during the dilution process
