Description

  • CaptureSelect LambdaXP Affinity Matrix was specifically designed for the purification of recombinant human immunoglobulins and Fab fragments containing a lambda light chain
  • The ligand binds to the constant domain of the human lambda light chain and recognizes all isotypes including IgA, IgM, IgD, and IgE
  • Features of this affinity matrix include: Efficient elution of Fab fragments and immunoglobulins containing a lambda light chain, no cross binding to the Fc-region or kappa light chains One-step purification from crude material with high purity and yield Excellent scalability Non-animal-derived CaptureSelect LambdaXP Affinity Matrix can be utilized for the purification of human Ig's and Fab/Fab2 fragments directly from complex source materials and enables a robust and efficient purification process with excellent purity obtained in a single step
  • Free of animal components CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology
  • The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free)
  • Main characteristics: Matrix: agarose-based, epoxide-activated Average particle size: 65 ± 10 μm Ligand: CaptureSelect LambdaXP Ligand coupling method: epoxide coupling Binding capacity: >30 g IgG/L resin depending on flow rate, column height, and contact time Elution conditions: 25 mM sodium acetate, pH 3.5 Flow characteristics: 50–200 cm/h (up to 2 bar) Formulation buffer: 20% (v/v) ethanol
