Anti-NMDAR1 Splice Variant C2 Antibody

Description

• Specificity: Specific for the NMDAR1 containing the C2′ splice variant insert. The antibody does not recognize the NMDAR1 subunits of the NMDA receptor that do not contain the C2′ insert. By Western blot the antibody recognizes a protein with molecular weight of 120 kDa. Also labels a single higher molecular weight band that may be a posttranslationally modified form of the protein.
• Immunogen: Peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of the rat NMDAR1 C2′ splice variant.
• Application: Detect NMDAR1 Splice Variant C2 using this Anti-NMDAR1 Splice Variant C2 Antibody validated for use in IH & WB.
• Physical form: Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized from ammonium bicarbonate (5 mM) so some residual salt may also be present. Reconstitute with 50 μL of PBS. Contains no preservatives.
• Storage and Stability: Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
