• General description: IgG antibody subtype is the most abundant serum immunoglobulins of the immune system. It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Maternal IgG is transferred to fetus through the placenta that is vital for immune defence of the neonate against infections.
• Specificity: Anti-Monkey IgG (whole molecule) antibody recognizes all monkey IgG subclasses. Rabbit anti-Monkey IgG is conjugated to Fluorescein Isothiocyanate (FITC).The identity and purity of affinity isolated antibody is established by immunoelectrophoresis.
• Immunogen: Purified monkey IgG (rhesus)
• Application: Anti-Monkey IgG (whole molecule)-FITC antibody produced in rabbit has been used in western blotting and indirect immunofluorescence.
• Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
