Description
- General description: Human MDC / CCL22 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is an in vitro assay for the quantitative measurement of macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC) protein in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, and/or cell and tissue lysates.
- Immunogen: Recombinant Human MDC
- Application: For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC) signals through the C-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CCR4). It chemo-attracts monocytes, dendritic cells and natural killer (NK) cells and aids in their function. The protein exerts human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) suppressive activity. The 67 amino acid form of MDC displays reduced chemoattractant activity but retains HIV suppressive activity. It is expressed in various cancers and is involved in recruitment of regulatory T cells (Treg) within a tumor.[1][2][3][4]
