Description

• General description: Contains five highly purified proteins ranging in molecular weight from 12.4 kDa to 290 kDa. Formulated to give peaks of approximately the same intensity for each protein when run on a TSK-Gel G300SW column after reconstituting with elution buffer and monitored at 280 nm. Markers include: cytochrome c, 12,400; myokinase, 32,000; enolase, 67,000; lactate dehydrogenase, 142,000; and glutamate dehydrogenase, 290,000.

• Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 100 µl of 100 mM sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.0 containing 200 mM NaCl. If the material is reconstituted with lower ionic strength buffer (i.e., <0.1 M NaCl) the cytochrome c may interact nonspecifically with the silica gel column and migrate incorrectly. Apply 20 µl to an analytical grade column such as TSK-Gel G3000SW (0.75 x 60 cm).
