- General description: Native β1,2-Xylosidase from Xanthomonas species. Catalyses the hydrolysis of terminal xylose β1,2-linked to the β-mannose of N-linked oligosaccharides. Enzyme requires removal of a1,3-linked mannose. Enzyme requires 5 mM calcium chloride in reaction buffer for full activity.

- Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will release 1 nmol of methylumbelliferone from 4-methylumbelliferyl-7-β-D-xyloside per min at 37°C, pH 5.0.
- Physical form: In 25 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5.
- Reconstitution: Following initial use, refrigerate (4°C).
