- Membrane Blocking Solution can be used to block nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes, as well as to dilute antibodies or enzyme conjugates
- This solution is a Tris buffer containing bovine serum albumin, goat IgG, Tween 20, and a mixture of other components that can reduce non-specific binding
- The Proclin used in this reagent does not inhibit peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase activity
- Note that this blocking solution contains normal goat IgG and should not be used in assays where anti-goat immunoglobulins are employed.
