  • General description: This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food.
  • Application: 1,1-Dichloroethylene has been used as a reference standard for the analysis of residual 1,1-dichloroethylene in pharmaceutical drug substances by headspace gas chromatography (HS-GC).[2] It may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in urban and industrial air,[3] whole blood[4] and water[1] by GC coupled with mass spectrometry (MS).
