Description
- General description: Capillary GC column is also known as open tubular column. The carrier gas flows through the central aperture and is unrestricted throughout the length of the column.[1]
- Application: α-DEX™ 120 was used in a GC column, in an experiment conducted to study the addition of catalytic enantioselective diethylzinc to a-substituted aldehyde, in presence of enantiopure ligand.[2] It was also used to pack chiral column durin GC analysis, in an experiment to investigate lipase-mediated desymmetrization of glycerol with aliphatic and aromatic anhydrides.[3]
